Topographic map of cache
A dinosaur is hidden in the lava flow south-east of Amboy Crater. I tried to hide him pretty well although you can see the dino without moving any rocks if you're looking at the right angle. If you find the dino it would be nice if you could leave another similar type of toy in his place. Or just add a new one to keep the first company. There is paper and pencil in a plastic margarine tub for a log. Also a whistle. Cache is a half mile walk from the paved road south of Amboy. You can drive a bit closer if you head west on the dirt road from N34 31.384, W115 44.677. Stop at the gate at N34 31.364, W115 45.093 and turn north to the edge of the lava. If you don't have 4 wheel drive you might want to walk from the gate as it's very soft and you can easily get stuck.

The dino with Amboy Crater in the background
I tried to hide the cache fairly well. The cache is up under a ledge where you see my yellow Etrex. I then piled up rocks around to hide from the casual glance.
Closeup of the cache before hiding with rocks.
Original dino (on left) with new dino (on right) left by fang on 4/20. There are two dinos now!
