Desert cache along the north boundary of the Coachella Valley. You can drive within 30 feet if you have 4x4 vehicle. Otherwise walk up the road from the north-east of Fan Hill. The aqueduct access road is passable with a non-4x4 vehicle. Cache is in an animal image cookie tin. Contents are mostly books: Longitude by Dava Sobel (every geocacher should read this book), an insect book, a bird book, a minerals book, and a tin of cinnamon Altoids.
