Arrived at trail head about 9am after spending night camped south near Indian Gorge. Nice hike up to homestead site. Spent 45 minutes searching for cache without finding. (There were two other hikers at the homestead, non-geocachers, who must have thought i was up to no good the way i kept climbing around the same boulders and looking under rocks.) I'd totally given up and was leaving. Went back to where i'd left my pack and there was the cache! Right under the boulder i'd left my pack on! I found the cache 140 feet SW of the given coordinates. These are my coordinates for cache location... N33 00.090, W116 23.164. Maybe will help some of the others in trying to find. Is a really nice cache. A lot of care went into it. Nice ammo box too! Left a Palm Springs keychain and took the Mtn Bike magazine to read tonight in camp. Seems the logbook is missing so left my map printout in place.
