Took a couple of tries to find this one. First i walked up the correct wash. I was just west the cache actually. But my GPS was saying the cache was to the west of the wash. So i walked back down and then up the ridgeline. From the ridge i looked back across the wash i was just in and could see the cache on the far side! So back down and around again. Oh well. I was a bit hot and tired. This was the forth cache i'd found today. Left a fresh tin of Cinnamon Altoids and took the little pocket magnifier. (Maybe will help me read the GPS.) Took a picture of myself with the cache camera too. Spent the night camped nearby. Note: I'm not sure the wash up to this cache from the main Overland route is actually approved for vehicles. Other people had driven it and i did as well. Use your judgment and don't drive it if you think any damage will be done.

Looking across the wash from the ridge west of cache. The cache is the little purple dot. Can see my shadow.

Looking up at cache from wash bottom. Can just barely see the purple box.

Hidden cache with my Akubra.
