Spectacular! I live in Palm Springs and have been up and down Salt Creek and the Bradshaw quite a few times but never up this canyon. Great spot! Nice views all around and a lovely hike up from the trailhead. A bit breezy but sunny till noon before the clouds came over. Lots of nice wildflowers too. I drove in via the Red Canyon Trail from Maniobra Valley. This is a super drive if you've never done it. 4x4 required but road is in good shape. Someone made a pile of rocks on the boulder overhanging the cache. Made the cache way to easy to spot so i removed them. Left a keychain and an Australian 50 cent piece. Didn't take anything. After this cache i continued on the Bradshaw Trail eastward to the Graham Pass cache. See GC2F0. Another nice cache. Then back home via I10. I also "placed" a virtual cache in the area. Watch Geocaching.com for Bombardeo cache.

Cache is up this hill. The yellow flowers are an encilia bush. The magenta is a prickly pear cactus.

Rock cave where the cache is hiding.

The cache itself with goodies.
